We
believe it is important for everyone to find a place to
connect relationally and grow spiritually.
Here are some ways you can move in that direction:
In-home Small Groups
A group of 6-14 people who meet together regularly in someone’s
home for fellowship, Bible study and prayer. Lifelong and
eternal friendships can be built in these settings.
The best way to get connected to an in-home small group is
by attending “Discovering Community”. Learn more
about it by clicking the following link: [Discovering
Community]
Life Groups
A group of 2-4 men or women who meet on a regular
basis for encouragement, support, and spiritual
growth. These meetings
usually take place in a variety of environments such as
restaurants, coffee shops or the work place.
Connection Points
Connection Points are a great way to have fun and
make new friends. These groups are centered around
favorite
activities
such as stamping, trail riding, swing dancing, euchre,
open gym, and events like Dinner for Eight. They provide
an excellent
opportunity to rub shoulders with people from WCC as well
as others from our local community. Connection Points are
ongoing throughout the year. Watch for announcements in
the weekly program or learn more
about it by clicking the following link: [Connection
Points]
Bible Studies
Even though Bible studies such as Beth Moore or the Discovery
Series are under the umbrella of the Women’s and
Adult Ministries, they provide an excellent opportunity
to get
connected here at WCC. There are also smaller, informal
studies available.
Prayer Groups
Prayer groups are committed to meet regularly for the sole
purpose of praying for the people and ministries of WCC.
Prayer groups may be only 2-3 people or a
large group.
Support Groups
Support Groups are available under the ministry and direction
of WCC’s Counseling Center. For details, please contact
Tonia Hanna at 268-0188 x140.
Serving at WCC
Using your giftedness to serve at WCC is another way to
get connected. Currently there are over 500 volunteers
who serve
in some capacity at WCC.
If
you have a question or would be interested in any of
these groups, please contact Courtney Flinn at 268-0188
x126.
